Dear Cottage Grove,
As we wrap up our first year together, I want to take a moment to recognize how far we have come. Year one was full of a lot of conversations, new ideas, and steady, behind-the-scenes work. I’m grateful for the trust you have placed in me and for the people across this community and the Village staff who keep stepping up, showing up, and pushing us forward.
We should also be honest about what lies ahead, year two is going to ask more of us. We have projects that need follow-through, expectations that deserve results, and opportunities we, as a Village, cannot afford to miss. I’m most excited to continuing the work…
- Watching the police station take shape!
- Comprehensive plan revision!
- Helping make decisions about future EMS/Fire facilities!
- Shady Grove Park!
- New bike paths for our kids!
- Responsible budgeting to maintain our AA bond rating!
- Reduction in our tax bills!
I’m committed to staying focused, staying accessible to YOU, and staying grounded in what serves Cottage Grove best. Thank YOU for giving me the chance to do this work. I’m looking forward to what we can accomplish together in the year ahead.
